Lorne C. Book

Lorne has called Texas home since 2007 after pursuing a singer/songwriter career in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the President and Director of BOOK LAW FIRM, a boutique estate planning firm in Carrollton, Texas. Lorne has specialized in estate planning for over a decade and is a regular presenter on the estate planning and elder law circuit in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. For his efforts, Lorne has been recognized with the prestigious "Rising Star" award by Texas Super Lawyers for multiple consecutive years.

Lorne also serves as Vice-President of ServingHIM - Healthcare International Ministries, headquartered in Plano, Texas. ServingHIM is a Christian ministry dedicated to "making disciples of Jesus Christ, bringing Hope and Healing worldwide." ServingHIM partners with local churches to provide healthcare, evangelism, and discipleship to those in desperate need of medical and spiritual healing. ServingHIM currently oversees medical clinics in Eastern Europe, Central America, and Africa. In 2024, ServingHIM will open the first Christian teaching hospital in Romania.

Lorne is married to his beautiful wife, Kym. Together they are proud parents of Roman, Shepherd, Judah and Chapel. The Books are also "fur parents" to Mabel, Indie, and Maggie. Lorne enjoys teaching, playing guitar and mandolin, amateur BBQ, golf and tennis.
